There were snobby kids like Charlie Bartlett at my school. Their moms looked like lizards and smoked menthols and their dads worked all the time and threw hookers off the backs of their yachts.

A Trailer Park usually specializes in film trailers, but this one is too good to pass up. For those who don’t know, Human Giant is a sketch comedy series on MTV. Yes, MTV sucks. This doesn’t suck. Season 2 starts March 11th at 11pm. It probably won’t be on the air for long because the general population doesn’t know what the word ‘funny’ entails.
A drama/romance from France about Asian people. I don’t know either. A girl leaves her village to go to college and finds sexual freedoms.
Some sexually repressed asian girl goes to college and learns how to do it. She catches on fast and does it a lot. She dumps her old boyfriend who tried to stay chaste for her, because she is now a rampant sex fiend. Apparently there are some feminist political implications I’m missing. She probably doesn’t cook him breakfast afterwards or wash the laundry or pay for her own abortion. Susan Powter should remake this movie in America.
A David Mamet action/drama where a martial artist falls into the the film business. Tim Allen, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Emily Mortimer, Joe Mantegna.
Everything about this movie screams crappy Chuck Norris ripoff. The story is stupid. The actors are stupid. And it looks like they borrowed the sets straight from Sylvester Stallone’s ‘Over the Top.’ Great movie. The only saving grace is that Tim Allen is in it and he’s apparently not trying to be funny. I wonder if he’ll pass for a dramatic actor. Actually, I’m lying. He won’t be a good dramatic actor.
From the director of ‘The Station Agent.’ A comedy/drama where a college professor comes home from a long conference and finds a couple living in his apartment.
So some old bored white man hates his life. He comes home one night and finds a black couple squatting there. Instead of giving them bullets in their faces, he lets them live with him. They in turn teach him how to play the bongos. Life begins anew for said old man. I hope all you sad old white people are taking note. Turn that frown upside down, and let homeless people live with you. If they steal your shit, at least you know the drums!
